Your site isn't ready for the
agentic web. Fix that in
five minutes.
Switch gives site managers control over AI agents and bots. Identify who's visiting, build custom journeys for each type, and get dedicated Analytics, scraper intelligence, and journey-level A/B test results — without blocking everything or hoping for the best.

Who this is for
Built for site managers who care what happens when agents visit.
If you manage a website — whether it's a SaaS, publication, e‑commerce site, or marketing site — you're already getting traffic from AI agents, scrapers, and bots. A third of web traffic is non-human, and that share is growing.
Block it all and you lose good traffic. Let it all in and you lose control, waste resources, and get scraped. Switch is for site managers who want their site ready for the agentic world: prepared for the traffic that's here, and the traffic that's coming.
The problem
You can't block or allow your way out of this.
The old playbook was simple: block bots or let them in. Neither works anymore. Some agents are helpful — they're doing tasks on behalf of real users. Others scrape, throttle your servers, or never identify themselves.
Your analytics don't tell you who's who. Your robots.txt doesn't give you fine-grained control. And you can't serve different experiences to different visitors. You need to know who's visiting, decide what each type gets, and enforce it — without rebuilding your site.
| Agent | Class | Conf. | Visits | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GPTBot | AI Agent | 0.94 | 1,247 | Challenged |
| ClaudeBot | AI Agent | 0.91 | 832 | Allowed |
| Unknown Scraper | Scraper | 0.87 | 3,201 | Blocked |
| Googlebot | Search Engine | 0.99 | 5,420 | Allowed |
| ByteSpider | Scraper | 0.78 | 891 | Throttled |
What Switch does
Identify. Route. Report. Throttle.
Switch sits in front of your site and gives you a control layer for agent and bot traffic.
Self-learning identification
Our engine identifies agents and bots automatically — and gets better over time. It learns from patterns, headers, and behavior so you don't have to maintain blocklists or guess.
Analytics for agent traffic
See source mix by page, trend spikes and drops, dwell differences, and aggressive scraping hotspots.
Drag-and-drop journeys
Route different visitors to different experiences. Block, challenge, or redirect — no code required.
A/B tests by journey
Run journey-level A/B tests with variant impressions, acceptance rates, and leaderboard performance.
Scraper intelligence
See which pages get scraped hardest, top scraper paths, and recent spikes. Launch defensive journeys in one click.
Five-minute install
Add a snippet. No server changes, no complex config.
Markdown for agents
Serve clean, structured Markdown to AI agents instead of blocking them. Auto-convert HTML or replace pages with custom content.
Form-based agent interaction
Inline challenges agents actually respond to, plus self-ID fields for compliant agents.
How it works
Set up. Add rules. Monitor.
Add the snippet
Drop the Switch snippet into your site. Takes about five minutes. No server changes needed.
Define journeys
Use the drag-and-drop builder to decide who gets what, when, and why. Start from a template or build your own.
Review and adjust
Review reports and fine-tune. Switch learns as you go — identification gets smarter over time.

Questions
Frequently asked
Site managers who manage websites — SaaS, publishers, e-commerce, marketing sites — and want control over how AI agents and bots interact with their site.
No. Switch lets you choose. Block some, route others to custom pages, require identification, or let them through with reporting. You decide per agent type.
Switch handles that. The identification engine is self-learning and improves over time. You focus on the rules; we focus on who's who.
About five minutes. Add a snippet and you're live. You can add journeys and rules as you go.
No. Switch uses lightweight tracking. Aggressive throttling only affects bad traffic, not humans.
Yes. Use the journey builder's 'Serve Markdown' action to auto-convert your page to clean, structured Markdown — or 'Replace Content' to serve entirely custom text. You can configure this per page, per agent class, or site-wide. Humans see the full site; agents get exactly what you choose — whether that's your content in a more efficient format, a custom message, or nothing at all.
Because they don't work. We observed that ChatGPT's browsing agent (and others) simply ignore popup overlays — they can't interact with dynamic modals. Switch's 'Inline Challenge' action injects a form-based challenge directly into the page that agents CAN interact with, and 'Agent Self-ID' adds a field where compliant agents voluntarily identify themselves. The SDK also monitors form fill patterns (typing speed, fill order, corrections) as powerful detection signals.
